Butterfly sailboats are large enough to accommodate several people, fast enough for serious competition, light enough for launching by one person, and virtually maintenance free. The Butterfly has a strong National Organization and holds annual National Championship regattas. From a cottage boat to serious one-design racer – the Butterfly does it all.

The Beauty of Butterfly Nationals!
The annual National Championship has something to offer one and all across all age groups. If you have come you know what we are talking about, if you have not participated you really are missing out. Next years event will be at Crystal Lake so start making plans for 2023. If you are a real planner pencil in Glen Lake in 2024. These are two of the best sites ever. Congrats to our winners and those that came and had a fun time.
